A cool quote for the day

I was reading an interior design website and I caught this quote:

"There is one fundamental fact about lighting: Where there is no light. there is no beauty."

It seems like an apt quote to remember while photographing the world around us.  The lack of light tells a story but the pure absence of it is blindness.  The quote just doesn't take into account the quality of light and how it lights something or someone.
